I for one am not sure my internet connection would be quite up for the task.That might be in Dominion mode, a 4v4 mashup of Battlefield mode and the MOBA! Which swamps the finer points of swordplay in streak rewards and unrelenting ganking. That doesn't sound so great for a game so focused on multiplayer. ON TOPIC EDIT: I hear the game is going to be p2p, which would make connections a lot more unstable. Either way, I'll read some reviews before taking the plunge, but I'm at least a little hopeful. Then again there's rumors that resources from those games were diverted towards making this one, so maybe it will be a return to form for them. It's not an insta-buy for me, Platinum's last few games haven't been that great. Seems like the type of game that enemies wreck you over and over again the first time, then you fight them again later and you wonder how they ever gave you trouble in the first place.Īs for Nier: Automata, I didn't get around to trying that demo. The twilight version I fought of her later wasn't much more difficult either, must have taken just two or three tries to beat.
I replayed the regular level to get closer to the necessary level for the twilight version and know what? She only hit me once. Afterward you unlock the "twilight" version of the level, with new monsters, higher level enemies and better loot. The Ogress must have taken me a dozen tries to beat the first time.
Nier: Automata is on my own list as well, I thought the first game was very unique and this looks even more so. It was quite difficult though, I could not beat that Ogress lady. The Japanese theme is cool and interesting. I reminded me of Ninja Gaiden combined with Bloodborne. Ricky_Bobby: Did you get a chance to try the Nioh demo ? I played some of it.
